Spring in full swing

Happy May from Islands Fitness and Hoss Equine!

What’s new?

This month I took a weekend long sound healing certification with Kirk Jones of  Evolvlove Sound Therapy hosted by Sukha Yoga. It was an amazing experience. I hope to add singing bowls and sound healing to my offerings by this fall.

Reiki:

I have done 3 of my 20 free sessions. One client has reported deep relaxation that lasted for days after treatment and better sleep since treatment. One client noted pain reduction. The third client immediately purchased a treatment for her mother for Mother’s Day. Through the Spring and Summer Reiki sessions will be done at my home and possibly on the road on a limited basis.

Champlain Islands Candy Lab and Islands Fitness Summer series starts June 16th! RSVP to save your spot, space is limited.

Hoss Equine at Log Cabin Stables

Lots of lessons going on when the weather cooperates. I am currently at the farm on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, along with weekends I am not in a training or at horse shows. I am also there on a very limited basis on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you are interested in lessons please contact me asap since lesson spots book up weeks in advance sometimes.

This past weekend we did a group ride with 3 lovely ladies. For two of these ladies this was a birthday gift. Riding lessons make great gifts. Contact me for options.

**I’m looking for morning stall muckers and possibly a groom. Payment for these activities include discounted riding lessons or ride time. I will train the right individual/individuals. **

We’ll also be at the Champlain Valley Morgan Horse Association Open show and hosting the Saturday Night Gymkhana May 25-26 at the Clinton County NY fairgrounds. Both the horse show and Gymkhana are open to all breeds, but there are some breed specific classes at the horse show.
